ABOUT ANJA

 

Anja is originally from Germany. After some time spent in the US and England she has been living in Wales with her husband and 2 daughters since 2002. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, cooking and baking. The latter is very popular with the BIC team in the office!

 

After working in the hotel & catering industry for many years, Anja gained experience in various administrative positions in sectors such as banking, accounting and engineering prior to her job with BIC. Since starting with BIC in July 2017 she has been providing admin support, making travel arrangements and helping with events organisation for a number of projects, including the Export Club, Lantra Tyfu Cymru, FoodWorks South West, NutriWales, Innovate UK Edge and the Trade Development Visit programme.

 

Anja started her position as Project Administrator for the Sustainable Scale Up Cluster  in May 2021 and her work involves providing administrative support for the delivery team, such as meeting notes, CRM updates & reporting. Anja is also a qualified internal auditor and as part of BIC’s QMS teams ensures that work on this project follows BIC’s QMS procedures.
