CONFERENCE 2022
About The Conference
The Sustainable Scale Up Cluster's inaugural conference, Money To Grow, examined in more detail how the 3Cs of scaling up - capital, capacity and competencies - are key to the sustainable growth and success of Welsh food and drink businesses.

Money To Grow was hosted at The Royal Mint on Thursday 24th March.
We hosted over 30 meetings at the conference between Welsh food and drink businesses and 10 potential investors and finance providers who we invited to Money To Grow.

We were delighted to partner with the Royal Mint for the location of our first conference.
As a result of hosting the conference at the Royal Mint and working with the Compass Cymru catering team in developing a menu featuring local and Welsh producers, the cafe has now listed Terry's Patisserie, Samosaco and Ferrari's Coffee to it's suppliers list.

During our time working with the team on the Sustainable Scale Up Cluster / Money To Grow Conference we had a huge eye opener. As a venue we recognised that we needed to do more. Our offering of locally produced Welsh products was minimal. We had an open conversation with the team from BIC who are extremely knowledgeable in this field. Without the Cluster's inspiration we would not be evolving our offerings as quickly and smoothly as we are.
